Ocean

The Ocean was added in the Ocean Expansion on July 10, 2026, the biggest update the game has had. It adds a second economy, a second army and 24 more flags to fight over.

Ocean Cash

Ocean buildings pay Ocean Cash instead of coins, and ocean buildings and ocean skills cost Ocean Cash. Ocean citizens pay 0.05 Ocean Cash per second each in rent (capped at 25 per second). Held ocean flags (+15% on the outer ring, +10% in the inner sea) and the Tides I, Tides II and Poseidon skills raise Ocean Cash income. Ocean Cash can also be bought in the Robux Shop.

Ocean tiles

Every plot has 12 ocean expansion tiles in two rows past the land tiles (tiers 5 and 6 on the expansion table). Ocean buildings can only be placed on ocean tiles, and some (ports, docks, the Fun Pier, the Aircraft Carrier and the Coastal Battery) must sit on a coast tile.

Ocean flags

Flags 14 to 37 are ocean flags. Your ocean home point is flag 13 plus your plot number. Flags 20 to 25 form the outer ring, and on September 20, 2026 the inner sea opened: gates 26 to 36 lead from the ring to the hexagon flags 27 to 37, which are linked through six checkpoints. Only ships and Sea Jets can capture ocean flags or be sent there. Every ocean flag nobody holds is guarded by enemy country ships: Military Boats near the home points, then Modern Warships, and an Anti Air Boat in the inner sea. See Military for every bonus and guard.

Ships

Ships are trained by ocean military buildings and sail flag to flag like land troops, but they never fight land troops and land troops never fight them. The only unit that crosses between land and sea is the Sea Jet, launched by your Aircraft Carriers: it attacks ships, planes and helicopters. Your fleet limit starts at 5 and grows with ocean flags and the Fleet and Armada skills. Ships are slow; the Currents I, Currents II, Trade Winds and Storm Sails skills make them up to about twice as fast.

Some ships have special jobs. The ICBM Boat and the Aircraft Carrier stay far out at sea and are never sent to flags. The ICBM Boat fires long range missiles at big fights, and the carrier launches up to 2 Sea Jets that do not count toward your army limit. The Coastal Battery guards your sea: its big guns shoot enemy players' ships that come close.
