New: the Skills + Hire + More update released on Saturday, October 3, 2026! Collectors and Merchants are now trucks you level up with the new Crew skills, and the update adds 38 new buildings, 7 new units like the Aircraft Carrier and the Support Caravan, and 3 new codes. Every classic building also got a brand new look, and there are 63 new decorations and 2 new Exotics, the Eco Tower and the Garden Skyscraper. The Alien Invasion event runs until October 21. Build a Country is a Roblox strategy tycoon by canard's secret studio. Start with a tiny town, grow it into a city of the future, expand into the ocean, ally with or declare war on other countries, and take over the server.

The basics

  • Pick a country, then follow the tutorial: place a house and a Berry Farm, buy and place a Campsite.
  • Houses add citizens who pay rent and work in your economy buildings. See Economy.
  • Buy Buildings in the shop, which restocks every 5 minutes. Rarer buildings show up less often.
  • Train an army and capture flags: every held flag boosts your whole country.
  • Expand your plot, then unlock the Ocean for a second economy and a fleet.
  • Spend your coins on the permanent Skill Tree.
  • Complete Quests, redeem Codes and watch out for Events.
